Iran’s presence at the IIC’s 51st Annual Conference

The IRF conference that is held annually by the International Institute of Communication is an international event that hosts regulators, members and associates from across the world putting senior level expertise forward.

This year’s conference, which will take place on October 4-5 2021, is comprises of three flagship events where more than 25 countries will be represented – Chairs, Presidents, Commissioners and Vice Presidents, all keen to share their experiences, vision and priorities with their peers.

Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Emamian, the president of the Iranian Audiovisual Media Regulatory Body known as SATRA, is one of the speakers at this conference where he will talk at the “Approaches to online platform regulation – balancing economic and social considerations” panel on the second day of the conference, alongside other regulators from Thailand and Italy.

This will be Dr. Emamian’s second attendance, the first being IRF’s last year’s conference.
