Iran’s Audiovisual Media Regulation Authority (SARTA) was established in 2017 with the aim of regulating and facilitating inclusive audio and video media in Iran and based on Article 44 of the Iranian Constitution.
Among the missions of this organization that regulates the universal Audiovisual media in Iran is regulation, licensing of media activity, monitoring and supervision of media content and providing facilities to the media.
